How does the selection process work?
Below you will find a gallery of our 2025 COTY Nominees. Click on the photos to see the nomination submission(s) for that person.
Please review the nominees while keeping in mind the criteria to receive the Citizen of the Year:
1) Outstanding service and proven dedication to benefit Los Osos over a sustained period of time.
2) Involvement in multiple community efforts to benefit Los Osos over a period of time, such as: education, beautification, environment, service or organizations, youth, seniors, churches, business, non-profits, conservations, politics, community service, etc.
3) Must live, work, or own a business in Los Osos.
The annual COTY meeting is scheduled for Sunday, DECEMBER 21 at 12 noon in the DOWNSTAIRS meeting room at the Baywood Inn Bed and Breakfast, 1370 2nd St, Baywood.
